The arm was sliced far too deeply, blood had pooled, even with the crimson cloth staunching the wound. His breath was breaking into pants, his head light. The man had hid well within the enemy camp, not caring if he was found now. If Kongming did not mess up, all would be well.

Yet the man could not help but regret. His body was failing him, broken with slices lacerating his form. The emerald clothes were dyed mostly with the sanguine that oozed out.

The black hues lightly fluttered shut, mentally willing himself to live until someone-anyone- to have the courtesy to mend him for his lord’s sake.

Scouting. That was the job that she’d been given. They told her it was really important, so she took it up right away - but it turned out to be incredibly boring. She was starting to think no element of life even existed in this part of the world, until she saw a trail of blood.

Her eyes widened, suddenly on full alert. The trail was light, as if the person was moving fast to get from one place to another. She followed it, stopping short in front of a bloody mess of a man - clearly someone who needed aid as soon as possible.

“Hey!” She called out to the other, announcing herself briefly before stepping over to the stranger. He looked so beaten and battered… he must have fought hard, whether he was on the enemy side or not. She flailed a bit in panic, as she couldn’t come up with an immediate response to the situation. She fumbled with a little pouch that she carried with her, dropping her fans to the ground so she could reach some much-needed bandages.

“You’re gonna be okay–!” She said as one of the bandages slipped from her fingers and unrolled onto the floor, leaving her to scramble and pick them up. After that, she turned to the other, saying quite desperately: “Can I see your wounds?”
