He gently took both of her hands with his and tilted his head to the side “Yes… yes I am, I was just checking on that … pile of scrolls to make sure they were not about to fall down the desk… It’s a little messy for now with all the work I had, but I am taking a break now that you are here.” He leaned down to kiss her forehead.

Although she trusted her husband very much, she was unsure about his reasoning. When he kissed her, there was very little she could do to fight her blush and a happy giggle from her lips, throwing her off a bit.
